Ashley Marshall
Ashley is Audie nominated Audiobook Producer/Director for Audible Studios. She is thrilled to be working in an arena that not only is she is passionate about, but allows her to work creatively and collaboratively with Authors and Narrators. Before working with the Studios Team at Audible, she was a Casting Director for over a decade with Beth Melsky Casting. While she specialized in commercials, she has worked in everything from casting extras in film to lead roles in National Network Commercials.
In this workshop with Ashley you’ll get insight in to the audiobook world and an overview of the skills needed to be an audiobook narrator - techniques, for pacing, and dialogue, and how to create maintain real grounded characters.
*Note: Please bring your own copy, from a book (fiction) that you enjoy reading, nothing younger than YA, No more than 2 minutes in length. Because it is fiction, and we are working on characters - it should include dialogue, ideally more than 1 character.

Maureen Kelly
Maureen Kelly is the owner and President of Just Voices Casting NY. She opened her doors in 1992 as one of the first in the industry to specialize in voice casting. Over her 31 years at the Just Voices helm, Maureen has cast voices for countless TV and Radio commercials, industrials, animated series, and documentary films.
Maureen has worked with top ad agencies and production companies across the country and abroad throughout the years and continues to be the go-to voice casting company in the industry to this day. Her clients have pointed to her skills as a director as being at the heart of her success.
Maureen loves finding new talent and helping to hone their Voiceover skills.

From live action, animation, scripted, unscripted, long form, short form, and even podcasts, Danielle has cast it all. Nickelodeon was her casting home for over 14 years, and some casting highlights include: The Astronauts, The Barbarian and the Troll, Blue’s Clues & You, Bubble Guppies, Dora the Explorer, Drama Club, Wallykazam, and Welcome to the Wayne.
Since opening her own casting office in April 2022, some of her favorite credits include RespectAbilitys Disabled Children's Content Creators Lab (sponsored by Netflix), American Girl: Corinne Tan, Matt Rogers: Have You Heard of Christmas? for Showtime and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah for Happy Madison Productions (coming to Netflix 2023!). She continues to cast Viacom Kids & Family content, and has several independent films and consulting projects she can’t wait to share more about!
Danielle prides herself on being an ally to artists and aspiring talent of all abilities; she's an advocate manifesting change in how the real world is reflected in today’s media. Her focus is on elevating under-represented and misrepresented communities, and with disability being the most underrepresented and misrepresented facet of our population, her passion for disability inclusion in media is always front and center in her work.

About Nate: Nate Begle is seasoned Voice-Over Professional and owner of Begle Booth Studios. As a voice actor, he has over 20 years of experience, with a diverse portfolio that includes national commercials, as well as countless animation, video game, ADR, and dubbing projects; he's also lent his vast array of voices and characterizations to over 30 audiobooks (and counting), working with top authors like James Patterson and Claudia Gray. As a trained stage, film, television actor and puppeteer, he's worked with industry giants like The Jim Henson Company, Sesame Street, and The Walt Disney Company. Nate is the owner of Begle Booth Studios, a recording studio specializing in audio production for film, television, and all digital platforms, he doubles as an expert audio engineer.
